Mackenzie Shino Agateware 2 - 11 oz - SECOND
This piece is listed as a second because the rim of the mug is a little uneven (i.e., wavy, not flat). This is a cosmetic flaw, and doesn’t impact the functionality of the piece (unless perhaps you want to use it upside down to trace a circle on a piece of paper).
This piece was reduction fired to cone 10 in the gas kiln 🙂. My agateware is thrown from a ball of clay with both a light and dark clay body mixed together. The glazes I use on agateware look very different on the two clay bodies, and I think they’re Super Cool!

All of my work is lead free, food, microwave, and dishwasher safe, but I always recommend hand washing with care!
